A better photo gives your character a better starting point.
Use a sharp photo with one clearly visible adult face. Avoid sunglasses, masks, strong backlighting, motion blur and equally prominent group members.
Use one obvious subject
One person should clearly dominate the frame. Group photos where two or more people are equally prominent are rejected before generation starts.
Keep the face clear
The full head and shoulders should be visible, facing the camera or slightly angled. Sunglasses, masks and hands across the face remove the features the generator needs most.
Choose even lighting
Soft, even light reads best. Strong backlighting turns the face into a silhouette, and deep shadows are reconstructed as texture rather than ignored.
Avoid heavy filters and obstructions
Beauty filters, heavy compression, tiny crops and screenshots with interface overlays all remove detail. A plain original is better than an edited export.
Check the result realistically
A good photo improves the input, but it does not guarantee an exact likeness. The result is a stylised interpretation prepared for browser play.
